CHARACTER

Name: Lucy M. Montgomery
Canon: Bungo Stray Dogs
Canon point: CH 74 of the manga
Age: 19

Summary:
Lucy Montgomery is a girl who has suffered in a horrible, unjust, and cruel world of despair-- And she will very happily roll back her sleeves and exposer her scarring to show you as much! Raised in a Canadian orphanage, ostracized for her creepy Ability, taken in only for her usefulness and then tossed aside when she wasn't useful anymore; Lucy has lived a rough life! She used to be someone who wore her suffering like a badge of honor and tried to drag other people into the same hell that she was in.

But then she was defeated by Atsushi Nakajima, a fellow orphan and connoisseur of misery, who embodied her impossible ideals; Kind despite his circumstances, stronger than his bitterness, and truly noble in a world of despair. He was like a fairytale prince, except super stupid and covered in cat hair, and Lucy decided to abandon her old misery tactics in order to chase what he represented to her. When the rest of the 'evil' Guild she has joined left Yokohama, Lucy decided to stay and live within earshot of Atsushi. She occasionally offered her help to the Armed Detective Agency and grew closer to Atsushi and Kyouka as friends. Then, when ADA was accused of terrorism, Lucy left her new cozy life in order to help Atsushi escape the law and prove his innocence. She's now hiding Atsushi and Kyouka in Anne's Room, where no one can get to them, and has changed her selfish ways so much that she even jumped off an airship in order to protect them. She is still a rude person, whose instinct is name-calling and psychological battle tactics, but Lucy is beginning to bring her fairytale ideals from her daydreams and into her 'real' life.

Powers/abilities:
Anne of Abyssal Red Lucy's power allows her to transport herself, and those she wills, to an alternate dimension called "Anne's Room." This space is tainted red and filled with stuffed animals and cutesy furniture that Lucy has collected. No one can get in* or out of Anne's Room without Lucy's permission

    * = Exception: When Lucy teleports to Anne's Room, she can accidentally drag anyone without a few yards radius of her into the room. She has proven to have some ability to control the finesse of this (at one point she accidentally leaves Atsushi and her clothes behind,) she hasn't perfected it. People can still sneak in with certain abilities (ex.: Two characters use their ability to attach to things to follow Lucy into Anne's Room and catch her off guard.)

Teleporting: Lucy can teleport people and objects into Anne's Room. She does this by snapping her fingers and capturing a dome space. Anything caught in that dome will be teleported into Anne's Room. This has meant once taking an entire crowd of people, because they were intermingled with the people Lucy did want to capture. She has also teleported whole buildings. In one case, she accidentally teleported herself and Atsushi without their clothes: Proving that she can technically be quite selective, but she can't perform super minute teleportations (she had been trying to leave the moisture on their clothes behind.)

In combination with the Exit Door, Lucy can create the illusion of teleporting.

Exit Door: Anyone can leave Anne's Room by going through the Exit Door. However, if they leave without Lucy's permission then they leave their memories of Anne's Room behind as well. If Lucy is letting you out, your memories go with you. The Exit Door connects the spot Lucy WAS to Anne's Room. She can then connect the Exit Door to anywhere in her original radius. The most important example is when Lucy jumps off an airship to catch Atsushi, teleports him to Anne's Room, then brings them both back to the nearest solid ground later.

However, she would not be able to teleport somewhere outside of her original scope. If Lucy teleports while in McDonalds, she ends up in Anne's Room. She can then only attach the Exit Door to a part of McDonalds. She could let herself out in the bathroom, the ball pit, the roof, etc. But she couldn't teleport to Wendy's. What kind of example is this.

Prison Door: Anne's Room has a convenient prison. If someone is put inside of the prison, they fall unconscious and cannot escape. They can only be released from the prison if someone opens the door and releases them. There is technically a key to the prison that anyone could use, should they have it. However, the key that she gave Atsushi turned out to be a trick. As such, I am assuming that Lucy made up that key to mess with him.

Lucy likely won't need to use the prison. She will not trap any muses there without the related mun's permission.

Anne: Anne is the guardian of Anne's Room. She is a giant puppet-like monster with red pigtails and a big ol'hat. She can only appear in Anne's Room. There, Anne is untouchable: She is incredibly fast, very strong, and Lucy is able to create at least two copies of her. However, Anne cannot hurt people. The most damaging thing that she can do is grab them and throw them into the Prison. I do not treat Anne or the other dolls as summons, because Lucy cannot bring them outside of her room. They are also not their own persons, but parts of Lucy's psyche.

THE NERFS: Anne's Room would be completely emptied out. I would also like to downsize it. Originally, Anne's Room is quite large. Lucy was able to fit an entire eight story building in it. By making Anne's Room smaller, she won't be able to steal buildings. I'd like to propose that Anne's Room be the side of a studio apartment.

Due to the day/night power restrictions, Lucy would not be able to stay in Anne's Room during the day. She would only be able to pop in and out. This will also prevent her from hiding there.

OTHER

Sentimental item: Atsushi's ADA uniform tie: Including the tieclips, so she knows who it belongs to.
Gemstone: Pink as the primary colour & yellow as the secondary. Almost like some catboy's disgusting eyes.

Lost memory #1: Lucy does not remember saving Atsushi. At the end of her canon point, Lucy had jumped off an airship in order to teleport a falling Atsushi into the safety of Anne's Room. This was a huge deal for her characters; She's had two other chances to throw her safety away to help him, and hesitated both times. Lucy has struggled to truly put anyone else before herself. By taking away her memory of successfully saving Atsushi, Lucy will not think that putting herself in danger was worth anything. As far as she knows, Asushi may have still fallen to his death and she did all of that for nothing. She will also doubt her capacity to protect others with her ability and be hesitant to extend Anne's Room to others anymore. She couldn't save the person who loves most, so why bother?
Lost memory #2: Lucy does not remember Fitzgerald being kind to her. Particularly, she will be losing a series of memories from the side comics where Fitzgerald spoiled her like she was his own daughter. He would take her cute nicknames for his weapons and machines and make them 'official.' He was her boss at the time and had hired her for her Ability, but moments like this show that he genuinely cared about her even after firing her from the Guild. By forgetting this particular happy memory, Lucy will dig deeper into the idea that she never belonged anywhere. She will feel abandoned and hesitant to trust people, because everyone leaves her once she's not useful.
Altered memory: Lucy thinks that she was taking an ADA entrance exam. When Lucy is found by Ango at the police station, ranting and raving at the time about ADA's innocence, he takes her away and asks her to help Atsushi and Kyouka. Lucy does this out of selfless goodness, because she truly believes they are innocent and will sincerely risk her life to prove as much.
At the time, Lucy also knows that new members of ADA have to take an 'entrance exam' in order to officially join ADA. In her altered memory, Lucy thinks that Ango offered her an ADA entrance exam. This will change two things for her: One, Lucy now thinks she got bribed to help Atsushi and that she was not simply doing it out of goodness. Two, Lucy now thinks that she failed the exam by (as far as she remembers,) letting Atsushi fall to his death. Joining ADA and having a place to belong, especially with her two best/only friends, would have meant a lot to Lucy. She now thinks that she not only failed them, but that she lost her place with them. In other words, she's assuming that she has been abandoned again. She will decide for herself that ADA now hates her and that she has no where to return to, while simultaneously looking for any excuse to believe that those things aren't true. The push and pull of her pessimistic habits and optimistic ideals will make her harder on herself than usual.
